This artist book presents Moriya´s paintings: Transitional space #1, her article: "The fourth dimension, Art and Science” and the curator´s article: "An artistic process through time and space”. Moriya is an artist and art therapist. Formerly an information systems engineer.
Dafna Moriya´s main contribution as a therapist and creative artist is the new model she makes possible and presents to spectators, to identify with what they see and search within themselves for its structured meaning. Her artwork may be interpreted through a response to the colors and personal understanding of the messages proffered. Sometimes this happens on a symbolic, metaphoric level, and sometimes by gaining an impression of the aesthetics and the open-ended combinations of images and events: in either case the interpretive process becomes a springboard into a fascinating new world.
